dc.description.abstract	The paper presents some particular aspects of reciprocating rubber lip seals for pneumatic linear drives. This study is focused on the following tribological aspects: friction variation under linear velocity, determination of the rod temperature, kinetic and dynamic friction coefficients. It was presented the graphical evolution of rod velocity and acceleration and the inertia of mass forces that followed. This study ends with the presentation of materials used for reciprocating rod and rubber lip seal.	ro_RO
