The Behaviour of Two Non-Conventionally Treated Steels During Corrosion Process

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis on two steel grades, subjected to nitriding thermo-chemical treatment after classic / thermo-magnetic treatments (in direct current/alternative current). It was estimated the durability of these materials, their evolution during corrosion test process, after applying different thermo-chemical treatments and thermo-magnetic treatments (considered as non-conventional treatments).
